The purpose of this church, under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is to evangelize and make disciples of all men to the glory of God. To equip each member for the work of the ministry and to edify the Body of Christ. This church provides for its members and the community a place of worship and sanctuary consistent with the Bible. It will be organizationally autonomous and non-denominational.

Statement of Faith:

We accept the Bible as our authority in matters of faith and practice and all other areas that it addresses including history, science and facts,  and adopt the following Confession of Faith:

  1. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God, inerrant in the original writings, infallible, true and trustworthy, and that they are of supreme and final authority.

    2 Timothy 3:16, 17 Matthew 5:18; 24:35
    Mark 13:31 Luke 21:33
    John 10:35 2 Peter 1:20, 21

  2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three-in-one, co-equal, co-eternal, co-existent, which is the Trinity.

    Deuteronomy 6:4 Matthew 28:19, 20
    2 Corinthians 13:14 John 1:1
    Acts 5:3, 4

  3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of God (one and only unique Son of God), conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man.

    Isaiah 7:14 Luke 1:27
    Matthew 1:18 John 1:14
    Colossians 2:9 John 8:58

  4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, one of the three Persons of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment. He lives in every believer, and He empowers and equips people to live the Christian life and to serve the Lord. He is the giver of Spiritual Gifts, and He distributes the gifts sovereignly as He wills.

    John 6:63; 14:16, 17; 16:7, 8, 13, 14 Acts 1:8
    1 Corinthians 12:11

  5. We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, that man sinned and, thereby, incurred not only physical death but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.

    Genesis 1:26; 3:1-24 Isaiah 59:2
    Psalm 51:5; 58:3 Romans 3-23; 5:12; 6:23

  6. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe in Him and receive Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.

    John 3:16 Hebrews 9:26
    1 Peter 3:18 Romans 5:8
    John 1:12 Romans 5:1

  7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into heaven and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for all believers.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-3 Luke 24:44-53
    Acts 1:1-11 Hebrews 3:1; 5:5-7; 7:17
    John 2:1, 2

  8. We believe in the "blessed hope"; the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in the literal 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ on earth.

    Titus 2:13 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
    Matthew 24:42 John 14:3
    Acts 1:11 Revelation 20:1-6

  9. We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ through faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, baptized by Him upon conversion into the Body of Christ, and thereby they become children of God and heirs of eternal life. This is a relationship in which they are eternally secure.

    John 3:1-18; 5:24; 10:27-30 1 Corinthians 12:13
    Romans 8:9 Hebrews 13:5, 6

  10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people; the just and the unjust. We believe in everlasting, abundant life with God for those who trust in Jesus Christ for salvation; and everlasting, conscious suffering for those who do not trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. This demands a literal heaven and hell.

    John 5:28, 29 Matthew 25:41, 46
    2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 Revelation 20:11-15

  11. We believe in the existence of a personal being called Satan, who is working in the world to destroy the souls of men and that he and all his fallen angels (demons) and all who do not receive Christ as their Savior will be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.

    Matthew 4:1-11 2 Corinthians 4:4
    1 John 5:18, 19 Revelation 20:11-15

  12. We believe in the Church, which is the Body of Christ, whose mission is to preach the Gospel to all the world. We believe in the local church; all of its endeavors being supported by the faithful stewardship of God’s people with their time, talents and treasures.

    Matthew 16:18 Acts 2
    1 Corinthians 12 Mark 16:15
    Acts 1:8 Malachi 3:8-10
    2 Corinthians 9:6-8
